About this demo

What changes on site

Around 10 am, vehicles arrive close together at transfer station A and a queue forms. Using queue records and vehicle locations, Lindos OS estimates that newly arriving vehicles may wait about 25 minutes. Under the organisation's rules, it notifies the dispatcher and recommends sending new collection jobs to station B. Once the dispatcher confirms, vehicle 4's job is redirected to transfer station B and the new route is sent to the driver. Arrival and departure records track the job through to completion.
