Data & integrations
Combine first-hand on-site data with your existing business data, so current conditions can be checked against plans, demand and results.
Three types of information
The site right now
Location, audio, environmental readings and status for people, equipment, assets and places.
PurposeContinuously describe what is happening on site.
Operational plans
Plans, shifts, orders, stock, contracts and costs.
PurposeDefine objectives, demand, available resources and constraints.
External changes
Traffic, weather and other external information relevant to the operation.
PurposeAssess how changes outside the site affect operational plans.
Organise data around operational relationships
Data integration is organised around five questions.
- 01Which people, equipment, assets and places are involved in the same task?
- 02Which resources are available, and which are in use, waiting, faulty or under maintenance?
- 03What work comes next, in what order and within which time limits?
- 04Which tasks, costs, service requirements or safety matters are affected by the current change?
- 05What options are available next, and what is the impact of each?
For example, matching the locations of workers, lifts and materials with the construction plan makes it possible to assess whether a delayed batch of materials will hold up a crew's start. It also helps identify a better delivery time slot.
Connect existing systems
Each project uses only data relevant to its operational objectives. The connected systems, fields and update frequency are agreed with the organisation before the project starts. Every record includes its source and update time.
