Work coordination

Deploy into existing sites without rewiring, alterations or interrupting operations

When several teams work at once, Lindos OS combines the work programme, personnel locations and equipment availability to sequence people, materials and equipment, reducing time spent waiting.

Before & after

Today

Work can start only when people, equipment, materials and space are all ready. Teams confirm availability by phone and site checks. During a busy period, construction hoists carry both people and materials; if one resource is delayed, crews wait at ground level.

With Lindos OS

Crew and material locations, hoist status and tower crane availability are checked against the day's construction plan. If resource timing could cause delays, the system recommends changes: prioritise people on the hoist, move block deliveries to a quieter slot or lift steel directly by tower crane. Once the construction manager approves, the revised schedule is sent to crews and equipment operators.

Example notification
Lindos OS | NotificationLevel 15 concrete pour tomorrow morning

The Level 15 pour is scheduled for tomorrow morning. The steel delivery has arrived, but the steel-fixing crew is still waiting for the hoist at ground level.

The hoist is carrying blocks to Level 9, with 3 crews waiting below.

Suggested action:Take the crews up first and move Level 9 block deliveries to after 11:00. Lift the steel directly to Level 15 by tower crane. Book the concrete pump for around 7:00 tomorrow morning.

Based on: the day's construction plan, crew locations, hoist and tower crane operating records, and material arrival records.

How it works

How it works

Collect → Assess → Coordinate

People, materials and lifting equipment in one view

See crew and material locations, hoist status and tower crane availability together.

Check against the work sequence and plan

Use task priorities to assess which resource delays could hold up work.

Reschedule hoists and tower cranes

Prioritise people, stagger material deliveries or use a direct crane lift. Send the revised schedule to crews after the construction manager approves.

Typical use cases

Warehouse loading coordinationLogistics & warehousingCoordinate dock allocation, loading crews and forklifts to reduce vehicle waiting time on site.
Today

Loading and unloading require a vehicle, dock, crew and forklift to be ready together. Inbound and outbound vehicles share docks and forklifts, and arrival times vary. Warehouse teams confirm arrivals and dock occupancy by phone and on-site checks, while vehicles queue.

With Lindos OS

Lindos OS keeps vehicle arrivals, dock occupancy, loading crews and forklift status up to date, then checks them against the day's inbound and outbound plan. Where waiting is likely, it recommends changes such as adjusting dock order or moving crews and forklifts to the next dock needed. Once the warehouse operations supervisor approves, drivers, loading crews and forklift operators receive the revised schedule.

How it works
  1. View resource status togetherSee vehicle arrivals, dock occupancy, loading crews and forklift status in one place.
  2. Check against the inbound and outbound planUse arrival order and loading volumes to identify which vehicles are likely to wait.
  3. Allocate resources before vehicles arriveRecommend docks, crews and forklifts before arrival, for the warehouse operations supervisor to approve.

With Lindos OS

Lindos OS keeps the locations and status of people, hoists, equipment and materials up to date, then checks them against the day's construction plan. If hoist use could leave crews waiting, it recommends changes such as prioritising materials for the floor that needs them most urgently. After the construction manager approves, crews and hoist operators receive the revised schedule.

Questions

Common questions

Does the site need alterations?

No. Deploy into your existing site without rewiring, alterations or interrupting operations. Attach, wear or position the sensors and plug in the receivers. Quantities and locations are agreed after a site survey.

How small can we start?

Start with one building or one warehouse zone. Review the results before deciding whether to expand.

How are results measured?

Before starting, both parties agree on measures such as crew waiting time, the proportion of tasks starting as planned, time from material arrival to use and equipment waiting time. Record the baseline, then compare results using the same definitions.

Will the records be used to assess employees?

No. Records are used to coordinate and verify work, not for performance appraisal or financial penalties. Explain what will be recorded and how it will be used before introducing the system.

How do people receive the revised schedule?

Once the construction manager approves, the revised schedule is sent to the relevant crews and equipment operators.

Do we need to connect existing systems?

Connect existing systems as needed, such as construction planning, shift scheduling and materials management. Agree the integration scope before the project starts.

Who provides operational support?

Lindos delivers the sensors, Lindos OS, system integrations and operational support. Lindos provides remote support; on-site support is agreed for each project.
