Subcontractor performance
Deploy into existing sites without rewiring, alterations or interrupting operations
After a subcontractor team arrives, Lindos OS combines location, contract and attendance records to check staffing and working time. Pay is based on verified hours, and entry into hazardous areas triggers a notification.
How a decision becomes action
Gather data → Verify contract delivery → Monitor safety → Settle pay
- ↓Pay disputes
- ↓Safety response
- Business parks & industrial sites
- Outsourced property services
- Construction labour
Before & after
Several subcontractors may work at an industrial site at the same time, each reporting its own attendance and working hours. At settlement, teams check whether contracted headcounts were met and how many hours each person worked. Safety officers rely on patrols to detect people entering hazardous areas or remaining still for an unusually long time.
Worker locations are recorded continuously to check attendance and working hours against subcontract terms, with alerts when headcount falls short. Entry into a hazardous area or unusual inactivity at a work location immediately alerts the worker, a safety officer or a nearby colleague. Pay is calculated from verified hours and paid to each worker.
Subcontractor B is contracted to provide 12 workers. Real-time location records show 9 on site today.
Suggested action:Verify today's working hours for the 9 workers present, and pay each person according to their confirmed hours.
Based on: subcontract terms, real-time locations and working-hour records.
Records are used to verify attendance and payments, not for performance appraisal or financial penalties.
Expected outcomes
- ↓Pay reconciliation disputes
- ↓Safety response time
- ↓Reconciliation discrepancies
- ↓Hazardous area entry incidents
- Who it serves
- Subcontract managers, safety managers and labour managers
- Initial scope
- One project and one settlement period
Measure outcomes consistently: agree the indicators and record a baseline before starting, then compare results using the same definitions.
How it works
Collect → Assess → Coordinate
Verify attendance using real-time locations
Check attendance and working hours against subcontract terms each day.
Flag hazardous areas and unusual inactivity
Immediately alert the worker and nearby people to hazardous area entry or unusual inactivity.
Pay each worker for verified hours
Use verified hours as the basis for payroll, with payment made to each worker.
Where it applies
- Business parks & industrial sites
- Outsourced property services
- Construction labour
Typical use cases
Construction worker pay assuranceConstructionCreate daily site attendance records and resolve discrepancies before payroll.
The delivery model pairs Lindos with an employment services partner. Lindos provides worker site attendance records; the platform manages employment and payroll services. Responsible organisations, workers and banks take part in confirmation, payment and reconciliation.
Crews report attendance for casual and temporary workers. When pay is calculated, the project team, crews and workers check the attendance records line by line.
Sensors create each worker's daily site attendance record as evidence for attendance checks. Before the pay period ends, Lindos OS lists missing records and discrepancies, prompting the relevant parties to complete and verify them. At payroll, crews, project teams and the employment services platform reconcile against the same attendance record.
- Create attendance records on the daySensors create daily site attendance records without relying on retrospective entries.
- Resolve discrepancies before payrollList missing records and discrepancies before the pay period ends.
- One record for all partiesCrews, project teams and the employment services platform reconcile against the same attendance record.
Common questions
Does the site need alterations?
No. Deploy into your existing site without rewiring, alterations or interrupting operations. Attach, wear or position the sensors and plug in the receivers. Quantities and locations are agreed after a site survey.
How small can we start?
Start with one project and one settlement cycle. Review the results before deciding whether to expand.
How are results measured?
Before starting, both parties agree on measures such as pay disputes, safety response time, reconciliation discrepancies and hazardous area entry incidents. Record the baseline, then compare results using the same definitions.
Do workers know their location is being recorded?
Yes. Explain what will be recorded and how it will be used before introducing the system. Location records are used to verify attendance and payments and provide safety alerts, not for performance appraisal or financial penalties.
Do we need to connect existing systems?
Connect existing systems as needed, such as subcontract management, attendance and payroll. Agree the integration scope before the project starts.
Who provides operational support?
Lindos delivers the sensors, Lindos OS, system integrations and operational support. Lindos provides remote support; on-site support is agreed for each project.
