Five layers

Five layers, from the ground up

Lindos OS turns continuous sensing of people, equipment, places and assets into trusted spatial facts. AI uses these facts to reason and coordinate action. From bottom to top, the five layers are CELL, GRID, PORT, CORE and AXIS.

01 · CELL① Sense

Sensor layer

Keep people, equipment, places and assets connected

  • Location sensors: badges, wristbands and tags with indoor beacon and outdoor BeiDou modes
  • Sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure, gas, vibration, light and door status, using energy harvesting or long-life batteries
  • Displays: electronic paper
  • All sensors share an in-house 2.4 GHz proprietary protocol for unified device access and identity management

02 · GRID① Sense

Network backbone

Reliably carry site signals upstream and commands downstream

  • Indoor, outdoor and vehicle-mounted receivers, plus wireless relays
  • Multi-hop relaying, self-healing topology and edge preprocessing
  • Wi-Fi or Ethernet uplink; DC or PoE power
  • Over-the-air firmware updates and staged OTA

03 · PORT② Facts

Spatial facts interface

A standard interface for agents to access spatial facts

  • Protocol adaptation: Lindos devices and third-party connections via Modbus, MQTT or HTTP
  • Data standardisation: cleaning, alignment and semantic mapping into a unified device model
  • Device management and maintenance: staged OTA and batch configuration
04 · CORE③ Compute

AI computing & operational reasoning

Two engines: millisecond responses and minute-scale reasoning

  • Spatial semantics engine: model physical spaces as zone topology and bind business meaning to time and location, creating a stream of operational events
  • Real-time engine: deterministic rules trigger vibration, sound, light or push notifications in milliseconds for geofence events, SOS calls and unusual dwell times, without relying on large language models
  • Reasoning engine: Harness orchestrates large language models to assess trends and anomalies and recommend improvements in minutes, continually feeding insights back into the real-time rule library
05 · AXIS④ Act

Digital twin & real-time coordination

One map for people to coordinate operations; dispatch commands for agents

  • Spatial interaction engine: AI modelling, real-time 3D rendering, semantic scene annotations, spatial overlays of multiple data sources and intelligent zone topology
  • Insight console: AI insights, spatial focus on unusual events, workflow triggers and coordinated execution of response plans
  • Multi-device collaboration and open APIs: desktop coordination, mobile inspections, IOC situational views, APIs and webhooks, with BMS, ERP and MES integration
  • Third-party devices can use the Lindos protocol to report data and receive device-level commands

First turn the site into trusted spatial facts, then involve AI in on-site decisions and actions. Lindos OS learns as it operates over time.
